Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its new Indian subsidiary, Messe Düsseldorf India Pvt. Ltd. presented the 3rd edition of Tube India International 2008 from February 13-15, 2008 at Hall no.7, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Concurrently, the 2nd edition of Metallurgy India 2008 and the 3rd edition of Schweissen & Schneiden India 2008, were also organised by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, Messe Düsseldorf India Pvt. Ltd. and MESSE ESSEN GmbH (organisers of Schweissen und Schneiden, Essen/Germany).
The show was supported by the German Engineering Federation - VDMA (Metallurgical Plants & Rolling Mills) and DVS (German Welding Society), the International Tube Association (ITA), the Indian Welding Society (IWS), and Minerals & Metal Review, a Binani Media Enterprise.
These 3 shows were spread over 9000 sqm of area with over 215 companies participating from 18 countries, including country pavilions, which were showcased by Austria, China and Germany.
Tube India International 2008, Metallurgy India 2008 and Schweissen & Schneiden India 2008 are India’s largest platform for the tube, pipes, metallurgy and welding, cutting and joining industries to gather at, thereby creating the right exposure to accelerate investment opportunities as well joint ventures.
4009 registered trade show visitors from all over India and other countries visited these shows. The shows witnessed an increase of 121% in the number of Exhibitors and 54.8% in the number of Visitors in comparison to the earlier editions of the event.
The participating exhibitors were happy about the quality of visitors and the exhibitors made very good business contacts at these shows. Visitors coming from all over India and abroad clearly points out that New Delhi remains India’s strategically advanced trade fair destination, to host quality shows.
